The theme “Legacy of Learning and Leadership: Honoring our Past, inspiring our Future” inspired this year’s celebration.

Former local leader Efraim Orodio now KSU Rizal’s PTA president, Garry Damian representing Hon. Congressman Allen Jesse Mangaoang, Ms. Myla Dipalog representing Hon. Mayor Karl Bugao Baac, were among the distinguished guests present to witness the celebration together with one of the generous lot donors Mr. Alfred Gunnawa and his better half.

Sharing a story of how promising KSU Rizal campus was and how it was drawn in today’s bigger picture from a mere dream is how President Eduardo T. Bagtang began his message. He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed to the continuous success and development in the campus. Few days from now, as he steps down from being the president, he expressed his high hopes and expectation to all the staff and people behind KSU to continue aspiring and to keep fulfilling the roles of an educational institution. He also urged them to continue the established good partnership and linkages that provide support beneficial to the university. As an ending statement, he took the opportunity to thank everyone and asked for a full support to the next administration. He also encouraged the leaders to continue backing up for without their generosity and support, this level of development would be none.

The celebration was marked by the formal blessing of the newly constructed Food Technology and Innovation Center, a key infrastructure project initiated under Dr. Bagtang’s administration.

The event concluded successfully as Students, officials, Heads of office and both faculty and non-teaching staff of KSU Rizal Campus worked hand in hand through preparation up to the day of celebration.
