In collaboration with the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), the KSU Faculty Federated Association Incorporated (KSUFFAI), and the Non-Teaching Personnel Association (NTPA), Kalinga State University organized the “Salamat Mabuhay” program on December 27, 2024, at the KSU Gymnasium, Bulanao Campus.

The event recognized the invaluable contributions of the university’s retirees: Ms. Arsenia M. Bayongan, Ms. Evangeline B. Cabello, and Engr. Danilo C. Falgui. The faculty, non-teaching personnel, university officials, and the retirees’ family and friends gathered to honor their dedicated service and celebrate their legacy.

KSU President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor acknowledged the retirees’ significant impact on the university community. She remarked, “Today, we celebrate the success of our colleagues as they begin a new chapter of their lives. While it is bittersweet to say goodbye, we do so with joy, knowing that they will now have more time for their families. Their hard work as mentors, guides, and friends will forever be cherished, sharing love, passion, and knowledge that make KSU proud.”

In response, the retirees expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the KSU family, reflecting on the challenges and triumphs that shaped their personal and professional journeys. Their families also conveyed their deep appreciation, recognizing Kalinga State University as a second home that played a pivotal role in their loved ones’ lives.

The “Salamat Mabuhay” program not only celebrated the retirees’ accomplishments but also reinforced the strong bonds within the KSU community, leaving an enduring message of gratitude and unity.
