LOOK: KSU-ARTA Committee Convenes First Meeting for CY 2025
The Kalinga State University- Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Committee held its first meeting for Calendar Year 2025 today, February 12, 2025, at the Administration Building Conference Hall. The meeting focused on ensuring compliance with ARTA requirements for the year, including the Annual Regulatory Plan, Citizen’s Charter and Certificate of Compliance, Client Satisfaction Measurement Report, Committee on Anti-Red Tape and Directory, Initial Whole-of-Government Reengineering Plan, Zero Backlog Report, and the submission of the Committee Report.
In addition to compliance matters, the committee deliberated on key aspects of government service delivery, such as the quality of public service, adherence to the No Noon Break policy, and concerns regarding awards and recognition for exemplary service.
Towards the end of the meeting, ARTA Committee Chairperson Dr. Paulino Reyes assigned specific tasks to committee members, ensuring systematic compliance with regulatory requirements.
The KSU-ARTA Committee is composed of the Vice President for Administration and Finance, Chief Administrative Officer, Legal Officer ,Head of the Planning Office, Supervising Administrative Officers, Human Resource Officers of the three campuses, Records Officers, Executive Secretary to the President, Head of the University Information Office, and the Head of the Information, Communication, and Technology Office.
The Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), an attached agency of the Office of the President, is responsible for implementing Republic Act No. 11032, also known as the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018. In line with this mandate, KSU reaffirms its commitment to streamlining processes, enhancing transparency, and improving the efficiency of government services.
