The University Director for Science Laboratories, Ms. Melanie S. Manuel with the DTI Development Specialist, Mr. Junefri B. Macaranas, and the rest of the SSF โ Food and Analytical Lab team of the university central Laboratory Ms. Jamina D. Siso, Technical Laboratory Manager for Microbiology and Engr. Faith Carol B. Sano, SSF – Food and Analytical Laboratory Analyst welcomed the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) North Luzon Cluster Director Gomel C. Gabuna accompanied by the Head of FDA Cordillera Ms. Saturnina O. Pandosen, FDA-CAR Food-Drug Regulation Officer Ms. Rochelle T. Bayanes and the rest of their team as they came to visit the universityโs Science Laboratory facilities.
This initiative from the FDA is a positive indication of future partnership with the agency to strengthen further the university’s capability to cater laboratory services within and outside the university as well as to improve technology innovations consistently through strong partnership and support from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).
University President, Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor expressed her gratitude for the effort and enthusiasm of Dir. Gabuna as he appreciates the universities laboratory facility as well as the technology innovation facility. Moreover, Dir. Gabuna also proactively shares key areas to further improve the university Laboratory services. He likewise assures the president of ready assistance for future collaboration.
