                        Excellent and quality graduate studies through relevant and responsive advanced degree programs geared towards transforming students into efficient and effective professionals in their field of specializations who have equity and access to local and global opportunities and challenges.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES: (CMO 75 S. 2017)

            The graduates have the ability to:

  1. Articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific filed of practice;
  2. Effectively communicate in English and Filipino, both orally and in writing;
  3. Work effectively and collaboratively with a substantial degree of independence in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams;
  4. Act in recognition of professional,social and ethical responsibility;
  5. Preserve and proote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage.

The graduates of Teacher Education have the ability to:

  1. Articulate the rootedness of education in philosophical, socio-cultural, historical, psychological, and political contexts
  2. Demonstrate mastery of subject matter,
  3. Facilitate learning using a wide range of teaching methodologies and delivery modes appropriate to specific learners and their environment;
  4. Develop innovative curricula, instructional plans, teaching approaches, and resources for diverse learners;
  5. Apply skills in the development and utilization of ICT to promote quality, and globaly, relevant,and sustainable educational practices;
  6. Demonstrate a variety of thinking skills in planning, monitoring ,assessing,and reporting learning processes and outcomes;
  7. Practice professional and ethical teaching standards sensitive to the local, national, and global realities;
  8. Pursue lifelong learning  for personal and professional growth through varied experiential and field-based opportunities.

MAED OBJECTIVES (CMO 53 s. 2007)

  1. Updated  and enriched teachers’ content knowledge in a specific subject area or professional area;
  2. Enhanced and expanded teachers’ theoretical and technical knowledge for teaching a specific subject area or professional area; and
  3. Developed the teachers’ research capabilities for replicating, verifying, validating, contextualizing, and/or  applying theoretical and practical knowledge about the different aspects of the educational process.

DOCTORAL OBJECTIVES (CMO 53 s. 2007)

  1. Expert level of theoretical knowledge in an area of specialization in education;
  2. Competent and motivated to draw from expert level knowledge to understand and solve different problems related to their area of specialization in education; and
  3. Competent to undertake advanced independent research in an area of specialization in education, including the ability to pose theoretically meaningful problem and hypotheses, gather and analyze data, and communicate the results and theoretical and practical implications of the research to diverse audiences.
