Mission of the Institution
Kalinga State University shall primarily provide higher and advanced education, professional instruction and training in the arts, agriculture, forestry, social and natural sciences and technology, and other relevant fields of study. It shall also promote and undertake research and extension services, and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.
Goal of the College
To produce graduates who can contribute to the needs of the province for a sustainable development consistent with the cultural values and aspirations of the Kalinga people.
Objectives of the College
Generally, the program aims to provide relevant and quality education in agriculture for the poor and underserved but deserving students in the area.
Specifically, it aims:
- to adequately train students in the scientific habit of thought and prepare them to become professionals with entry level competence in technical agriculture; and
- to train students in identifying, diagnosing and analyzing problems as well as in generating, packaging and applying appropriate technologies needed in enhancing the development of upland agriculture and of system resource.
