The Regional Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) 2024 was conducted on May 29, 2024, at the Kalinga State University (KSU) grounds. The event was led by LTC Epifanio R. Gaminde VI FS PA (RES), the Chairman of RAATI.

Prior to the commencement of the program, the inspection team paid a courtesy call to the University President, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang.

During his inspirational message, Dr. Bagtang extended his gratitude to the inspection team for their visit to KSU. He emphasized the significance of this annual inspection as the culmination of year-round training efforts.” I believe that the ROTC officialdom of Kalinga State University had done their part in training you, in imparting you the necessary knowledge and skills for you to thrive as good and honorable ROTC students,” he added.

Following Dr. Bagtang’s address, a turnover ceremony of the unit color to RAATI Chairman LTC Epifanio R. Gaminde took place.

LTC Gaminde highlighted the purpose of the RAATI, noting that it is an annually conducted activity designed to evaluate ROTC performance, particularly in training excellence. “This inspection aims to determine the current condition of ROTC units in terms of administration, personnel, facilities, training aides, equipment, and the support extended by school activities. It seeks to enhance the program to be more responsive and productive in relation to reserve manpower development,” he remarked.

The RAATI 2024 saw participation from various colleges and universities within the Cordillera Administrative Region, encompassing both private and public institutions. This comprehensive evaluation underscores the commitment to maintaining high standards in ROTC training and development across the region.
