Kalinga State University Dagupan Campus conducted its annual students’ recognition and Parents’ Day with the theme “Radiating the future of Nation Builders: Forgiving Pathways to Success”, a special event that honors the outstanding achievements, hard work of the students and faculty members.

The event was held at the University’s congressman William F. Claver Hall, Quadrangle Dagupan Campus today, June 21, 2024, and was participated by KSU officials, Faculty members, together with the Parents, guardians and graduates.

Mr. Nolie Boy D. Jerson, MBA, faculty and outgoing Dean of CBAA, congratulated the graduating students and proud parents in his opening remarks. Likewise, to the faculty and staff for their untiring commitment to education and students’ growth. “Your guidance and mentorship have helped shape their minds and characters, preparing them for the future.”, He added.

CBAA Student Leader Mr. Mark Dave Limos expressed his gratitude to the parents and guardians for their sacrifices, countless sleepless nights, sorrows and as well as innumerable joys throughout the path of their children’s education. “Your unfailing love, advice and encouragement has been the core of which we have constructed our aspirations. We honor not only our accomplishments, but also the deep influence of parental love and guidance”, he added.

In her message, Dr. Mary Joyce Wangiwang, Director for student and Placement services, explained the importance of the program, that recognition day honors students who have excelled in their academic studies, extracurricular activities, and community service. She also emphasized that recognition is a time to acknowledge their dedication and commitment to their education and a moment of pride and celebration as they take another step closer to achieving their goals and aspirations. She ended her message with this phrase, “Every child has the potential”.

One of the highlights of the event was the awarding of certificates recognizing the academic achievements and services of the graduating students rendered in the university. These students had excelled in their studies, demonstrating a high level of academic achievement and a strong commitment to their education and contributions to the university’s mission of excellence in education.
