The College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT) celebrated its recognition day on June 25, 2024, with a theme, “Honoring the pillars of strength behind future builders and innovators” that brought together students, faculty, and staff to recognize the achievements of the department.

The outgoing Dean, Engr. Stallen Clemence L. Puyoc, in his welcome remarks highlighted the role of engineering, mathematics and Information Technology in driving innovation and progress in various industries. He emphasized the need for students to continue pushing boundaries and exploring new technologies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving field.

This event was not only a celebration of achievements but also a time for reflection on the importance of Technology in today’s world.

Dr. Ronald U. Wacas, Incoming Dean, in his inspirational message, emphasized the boundless potential that awaits their innovative contributions. He said, “The world awaits your innovations, and it is your courage to dream big and work hard that will lead to extraordinary advancements.” He highlighted that this recognition day serves as evidence to the relentless hard work each student has invested in their career pursuits.

Dr. Wacas also extended heartfelt acknowledgments to the parents, recognizing them as the unsung heroes of their children’s journeys. “Your love, sacrifices, patience, and sincere belief in your children have provided them with the essential foundation to shine,” he added.

The celebration continued with the awarding of certificates to outstanding students for their academic excellence and contributions to the college.
