June 28, 2024. Congressman Allan Jesse C. Mangaoang delivered his keynote address to the 1,040 graduates of Kalinga State University during its 31st Commencement Exercises, themed “Radiating the Future of Nation Builders: Forging Pathways to Success.” The ceremony was divided into two sessions, with 522 graduates in the morning and 518 in the afternoon.

In his opening statement, Congressman Mangaoang expressed his excitement, likening it to the graduates’ anticipation. Reflecting on his own upcoming departure as the Representative of the Lone District, he remarked, “I am very ready to step down from my podium because we trust in the wisdom of our new graduates in charting the future of our province.”

Central to his message was a reminder to the graduates of their significant role in shaping their communities. He emphasized, “The development cycle of the province rests upon the shoulders of new graduates and new leaders whose idealism could hardly be compromised.”

In his concluding message, Congressman Mangaoang highlighted the virtue of kindness, noting its profound impact. He stated, “Kindness doesn’t cost much, but it has immeasurable value. It changes everything. As you pursue your future in this world, always remember the word kindness.”
