As part of their commitment to continuous improvement for academic excellence, Cagayan State University – Gonzaga Campus benchmarked at the College of Business Administration and Accountancy, specifically the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Financial Management. The activity was held on March 18, 2025, at Dagupan Campus and attended by the College Dean and faculty members.

The visit aims not only to adopt the best practices and innovative strategies of the college but to gain valuable insights from the curriculum, instructional methodologies, research initiatives, industry linkages, and student development programs.

Dr. Jay F. Omotoy, Dean of the College of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Accountancy at Cagayan State University, explained the rationale behind their visit, highlighting Kalinga State University’s reputation for producing high-quality graduates and maintaining commendable standards in Business Administration and Accountancy Education. He emphasized that KSU has long been a source of inspiration for them, and he believes that learning from the institution’s experiences and successes will greatly contribute to their efforts in enhancing their own academic programs.

CBAA Dean, Dr. Raquel J. Dulliyao, expressed her appreciation to CSU for choosing the university and the CBAA for their avenue to enhance their experience and other insights that could somehow help them in their similar endeavors. “It is of great joy when we are able to share our best practices in the College along with the different functions of KSU including Instruction, Research, Extension and Production to our clients, community and other stakeholders,” she added.

One of the highlights of the visit was the presentation and discussions of the documents by the faculty members during the level IV accreditation and the tour to the facilities of the university.
