Today’s first flag raising ceremony for the opening of academic year 2024-2025 was sponsored by the office of the Director for Sentro ng Wika, Dr. Janette P. Calimag.

During the ceremony, President Eduardo T. Bagtang addressed the students, encouraging them to fully engage in and make the most of their academic experience at the university. He emphasized the importance of academic and personal growth, urging students to embrace their studies with enthusiasm and commitment.

President Bagtang also called on the faculty to uphold their dedication to teaching and values inculcation. He highlighted the role of educators in shaping the future of students, ensuring that they graduate not only with knowledge but also as well-rounded individuals who embody the university’s values.

Following the flag-raising, announcements were made by various university offices. The Human Resource Office recognized three faculty members who achieved promotions through the Institutional Promotions process. Additionally, employees who demonstrated exemplary punctuality and performance in their duties were acknowledged. Students who participated in the Philippine ROTC Games Luzon and NCR Qualifying Leg 2024 were also presented and given their certificates.
