On December 23, 2024, KSU non-teaching personnel gathered at the Audio-Visual Room, CNHS Building, Bulanao Campus, for a seminar on “Building Resilient Workplaces through GAD-Aligned Initiatives.” The program, spearheaded by the KSU Administrative Office, emphasized career development and workplace resilience for non-teaching staff.

Key discussions during the seminar included Work Ethics and Anti-Sexual Harassment (WESH), the Safe Spaces Act (RA No. 11313), and the Omnibus Rules on Leave. These topics were designed to strengthen professional conduct, ensure compliance with gender and development (GAD) standards, and foster a safe and equitable work environment.

In his welcome message, Dr. Paulino Reyes, Vice President for Administration and Finance, commended the efforts of the organizing team and expressed his appreciation for the enthusiastic participation of attendees. KSU President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor further inspired the participants with her message, emphasizing the university’s commitment to equal opportunities and benefits for all personnel, in line with its mission to create a supportive and inclusive workplace.
