Kalinga State University conducted its first flag-raising ceremony for the second semester of the academic year 2024-2025. The event, held in front of the College of Education, marked the official opening of the semester, warmly welcoming new and returning students, faculty, and staff.

In her address, KSU President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor extended a heartfelt welcome to the KSU family, emphasizing the university’s commitment to fostering a nurturing and vibrant environment. “I am delighted to welcome you back to your second home,” President Doctor stated. She expressed her gratitude to the faculty for their dedication to guiding students on their educational journey and acknowledged the administrative staff for their indispensable support.

Addressing the students, President Doctor encouraged them to make their time at KSU meaningful and productive. “Make your stay in KSU fruitful. Let’s work together, help each other, and strive to make our university a place where learning thrives,” she said.

President Doctor also introduced the newly designated university officials who will serve until December 31, 2025, ensuring a strong leadership team to support the university’s goals. She assured students of the administration’s full support in building a community that prioritizes academic excellence, personal growth, and collaborative success.
