Kalinga State University continues to uphold excellence in public service, as affirmed by the Civil Service Commission’s Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB). In a recent performance report covering January to December 2024, the CSC commended KSU for maintaining an impeccable record in service delivery, with no negative feedback recorded during the period.
The CCB, serving as the CSC’s public feedback mechanism, ensures that government frontline services adhere to the principles of efficiency, transparency, and accountability. Established under Republic Act No. 9485 (Anti-Red Tape Act of 2007) and reinforced by Republic Act No. 11032 (Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018), the CCB plays a crucial role in addressing public concerns and enhancing government service responsiveness.
The Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 recognizes the CCB as a key strategy for improving public feedback loops, strengthening social accountability, and fostering trust in government institutions. By maintaining a spotless record in service delivery, KSU demonstrates its commitment to upholding the highest standards of governance and public service.
CSC Director IV Fiaberna U. Salumbides of the Public Assistance and Information Office relayed this commendation to KSU President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor, reinforcing the university’s dedication to providing efficient and quality service to its stakeholders. This recognition serves as evidence to KSU’s continued pursuit of excellence in higher education administration and public service.
With this acknowledgment, Kalinga State University remains steadfast in its mission to deliver seamless and transparent services, further strengthening its reputation as a premier institution in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
