Kalinga State University Freshmen students from the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program delivered an impressive display of talent and creativity during their NSTP-CWTS outreach activity held on November 22, 2024, at St. Theresita’s School of Tabuk City covered court and AVR.
The event featured a series of performances and competitions, with the biblical story of Daniel and the Lions’ Den as the centerpiece. The students’ dramatic retelling of the story showcased their acting skills and dedication, earning praise for its energetic and impactful presentation.
Complementing the play were dynamic dance performances inspired by the story’s setting. One group depicted a bustling Babylonian marketplace, while another illustrated the grandeur of King Nebuchadnezzar’s court. The intricate choreography was enhanced by vibrant costumes crafted with the support of parents and their professor, Sir Jonathan Belandres.
A musical segment further highlighted the students’ talents, with harmonious vocal performances and skilled instrumental renditions using guitars and recorders. A singing competition capped off the morning’s activities, showcasing individual vocal prowess and fostering camaraderie among participants.
Sir Belandres commended the students for their hard work, teamwork, and creativity, emphasizing the importance of integrating talent and storytelling into their outreach activities.
The event concluded with an atmosphere of celebration, underscoring the students’ commitment to excellence and the collaborative spirit of KSU’s Accountancy program.
