On September 24, 2024, the KSU- College of Health and Natural conducted a complimentary prenatal check-up at the KSU MIDCARE Birthing Clinic.

The event welcomed its first four patients: Althea Frits Danao, Madeline Mariano, Friema Gupaal, Cathrine Mabila, and Euphronia Laggui. They received personalized care from two Bachelor of Science in Midwifery students, Eva Banisal and Espie Tucyapao, who are also registered midwives. This initiative was supervised by Clinical Chairman Ms. Karen Licab and Clinical Instructor Dr. Marlita Quesada, with leadership provided by College Dean Dr. Christina Ammakiw. Attendees were also treated to complimentary snacks courtesy of Dr. Quesada.

The KSU MIDCARE Birthing Clinic continues to offer free services to all pregnant women in the community.
