LOOK: In celebration of Ifugao State University’s 104th Founding Anniversary and 15th Charter Year, Kalinga State University officials joined the momentous occasion, extending their support and participation in welcoming the event’s esteemed guest speaker, Commission on Higher Education Chairman, Hon. J. Prospero E. de Vera III. The KSU delegation was led by University President Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor, accompanied by former KSU President Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang.

IFSU’s 104th Founding Anniversary marks over a century of excellence in higher education, and its 15th Charter Year celebrates its continued commitment to academic growth and institutional development. KSU’s participation in the anniversary underscores the solidarity and cooperation between state universities in the region.

Chairman de Vera’s presence was a fitting tribute to his usual support for all SUCs. Moreover, his leadership in the implementation of Republic Act 10931, the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, has provided thousands of students, including our students, with access to free tuition, significantly contributing to the advancement of higher education across the country.

It is recalled that Chairman de Vera’s approval of numerous key infrastructure projects for KSU has played a crucial role in enhancing the university’s capacity to serve its academic community. || Mary June Wacas-UIO
