The University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao hosted the 2nd International MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Convention held on November 23-24, 2024. With the theme “Transcending Boundaries: Universalizing Tourism and Hospitality Management,” the two-day event served as a vibrant platform for learning, networking, and envisioning the future of tourism and hospitality.
Participants from academic institutions and industry leaders across the region showcased their talents and expertise in various competitions. Among the standouts was Kalinga State University- College of Entrepreneurship, Tourism and Hospitality Management which emerged as a top contender, securing a prestigious Gold Award in several categories.
The highlights of KSU’s accomplishments included commendable performances in Travel Feature Writing, Virtual Tour Guiding, and Tour Package Proposal. The university also demonstrated its exceptional prowess in technical and artistic disciplines, including the Tourism and Hospitality Quiz Bee, Mixology with Flairtending, and the Master Chef (Mystery Box) competition.
The convention not only provided an avenue for participants to demonstrate their skills but also fostered connections and collaborations, furthering the goal of transcending boundaries within the global tourism and hospitality industry.
