The Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight Technical Working Group (TWG) of the university convened for its first meeting and turnover of chairmanship on March 12, 2025, at KSU-Rizal Campus. It marks a significant transition in leadership and strategic planning for the group’s ongoing projects.
A key agenda of the meeting was the formal turnover of documents to the newly designated chairman, Dr. Ehrol C. Bayed. The outgoing leadership presented the terminal report of the project “Championing the Sericulture Industry through KSU’s Capacity Building and Research Development (Phase 2).” Additionally, the team discussed the recently approved proposal for the utilization of the 2024 budget for Phase 3 of the project, ensuring the continuity of KSU’s initiatives in sericulture research and development.
The same team, under the leadership of Dr. Bayed, includes members: Dr. Joy Grace P. Doctor, Dr. Robert A. Rodolfo, Dr. Bernadette C. Aggabao, Dr. Loneza G. Carbonel, Dr. Rhonjhon Garming, For. Victorino D. Bayed, Ms. Elsie P. Andres, and For. Jowel Mauricio. Supporting the group as secretariat are Mr. Wilfredo A. Equila and Mr. Christopher Agustin.
With this leadership transition, the TWG reaffirms its commitment to advancing futures thinking strategies and ensuring the successful implementation of sericulture research initiatives, strengthening KSU’s role in sustainable agricultural development.
