Led by the energetic College Dean, Dr. Ma.Cyrila Bawer, the College of Education conducted its orientation to welcome both new and returning students today, August 22, 2024, as they embrace the academic, social, and personal opportunities in the university.

This aims to help the enrolled students understand that the College of Education demands a high level of commitment, perseverance and dedication, that they should be more attentive and be prepared for rigorous coursework, demanding assignments, and a fast-paced environment. It is also to provide a comprehensive guide to navigate the academic and personal aspects of the future educators as they face their exciting new chapter of their education.

In his message, Dr. Eduardo T. Bagtang emphasized the importance of absorptive capacity, that is the metrics that were followed during admission which is why the first-year students are well chosen and capable of entering the university. Likewise, he congratulated the faculty members in bringing the college to what it has become today.

Part of the program was the presentation of college’s faculty members, staff and the college policies.
